One visit · about fifteen minutes
The first visit is shorter and simpler than most people imagine: you ring the bell and a life-sized green bear comes out to let you in (a Grüner Bär staff member, to be honest). We check your ID, and about fifteen minutes later you are choosing.

- instant bank transfer*
*If you use a regular bank transfer, you will not be able to collect until the payment has arrived.
The annual membership fee is €20 and you can collect on the same visit. There is no second trip.
Getting here
We are at Ziegrastraße 13, 12057 Berlin, in Neukölln. From S-Bahn Sonnenallee it is about eight minutes on foot. There is parking on the street.
At the door
Ring the intercom and you are let straight through to the club.
The check
Bring the ID document itself; a photo on your phone will not do. We photocopy it and keep the copy internally and offline, and only for as long as you are a member. Nothing is uploaded anywhere.
The law strictly requires an ID check at every collection, and that is the only thing you have to remember to bring when you come to pick up your flowers.
On the first visit you also declare two things: that you have had your residence or habitual abode in Germany for at least six months, and that you are not a member of any other cultivation association. The law allows one club per person, and this is where that is settled.
Ten to fifteen minutes, and that part is over.
Then you choose
Somebody will take you through what is available and what it is like. If you want to know why one thing smells the way it does, ask. The people at the counter know, and explaining it is the part of the job they enjoy.
You can collect straight away. The legal limits are 25 grams a day and 50 grams a month, and they apply to everybody.

We appreciate it if you book an appointment, but you can also simply drop by during opening hours.
After the first visit
That is easy: you come during opening hours, show your ID and collect. From time to time you will also lend a hand with running the club.
